Introducing... the Magnus Shirt.

On 12/3/21, Magnus Carlsen defeated Ian Nepomniatchi in Game 6 of the World Chess Championship in 136 moves with the game spanning almost 8 hours long.

This game became the longest game in WCC history, marking another chapter in Carlsen's collection of fascinating games. Printed on the front of this shirt is the entire move order from that game, with the sleeves embroidered to replicate the final pieces on the board upon resignation.

This shirt features:

  • Longest World Chess Championship Game in History Between Magnus Carlsen and Ian Nepomniatchi (Game 6 2021)
  • Embroidered Chess Pieces (Representing Final Pieces on the Board from WCC Game)
  • Blue/White Striped Cut & Sew Dress Shirt
  • "Apologetic Letters" Logo Buttons
  • Custom Neck Label
  • True to Size Fit
  • In Stock and Ready to Ship (Free Domestic Shipping as Always) :)

This project took roughly a year and a half to get right, with the one detail we couldn't fit is the entire move order actually being printed; roughly the final 15 moves were unable to fit due to printing methods and the aesthetic of the shirt (had to minimize the moves too small and didn't look right).

Whether you're a fan of the game or just think the shirt looks nice, you'll always have a story to tell with this one.

Enjoy.
