Lilac - Dear Planet Hoodie

For Earth Day 2024 Apologetic Letters returned again with the coveted Dear Planet Hoodie, this time in the "Lilac" colorway. The hoodie - featuring puff print details on the chest and sleeves, is just the third and potentially final color way of the series. In line with the previous releases, a portion of the profits will be donated to local environmental organizations 🌎♥️

For this release we were joined by Elena, Alex, and Sydney who did a shoot with us at a local park. 

From a design perspective, the "Dear Planet Hoodie" presents itself as a direct "letter" to the planet as a proposed apology for our collective negative footprint on the environment on a global scale. The hoodie also makes us think and hopefully makes you think about our consumption habits as a society with both regards to clothing and our daily use of everything.

 As a small brand, it all poses a question of how we can be smarter in our preparation of the consumption from the end user, from shipping materials, to hoodie materials, to the ideas of upcycling 

We have already begun to implement more bio-friendly packaging, explore higher quality and more sustainable materials for our products, and want to keep this conversation going. We are always open to any new ideas/thoughts you may have.
